Bert was born in St. Petersburg, in the state of Florida on Nov 3, 1972. He was raised in Tampa, Florida. His father, Albert Charles Kreischer was a very successful attorney and his mother, Gege Kreischer had a career in early childhood development.

The article featured things Bert Kerischer did at those parties including heavy drinking and public nudity.

Eventually, this article reached the famous Director Oliver Stone who optioned the rights to Bert’s story. Unfortunately, the deal could not be completed and all the scripts were sent back to the writers. One of the writers changed the name of Ben Kreischer to Van Wilder and sold it to National Lampoon. 

Then a movie was made in 2002 National Lampoon’s Van Wilder. The main role was played by Ryan Reynolds.
