10 Best Squeeze Page Builders For 2022 (Free & Paid Tools)

Squeeze pages! What would we do without them? They’re the easiest way to gather potential leads - not to mention, a heck of a way to get noticed online.

There are several factors you should look for in the best squeeze page builder software, and I’m talking about them all today.

What should I look for in a lead page builder?

The first thing I’d say you should consider is the price. How much are you willing to spend on software? And from there, you’ll find options that you’ll be happy to spend on.

Now that you have a budget range, let’s talk about other considerations that you should make a priority.

User interface

I don’t want software that will make my tasks more complicated than it needs to be. And I’m guessing you feel the same way too. Look for something that is easy to use and intuitive so you don’t spend countless hours trying to figure out which button does what.

Customizability

I don’t know about you, but I don’t like it when my pages look exactly like others out there. Sure, there are ready-made templates that make your life easier, but you should make sure it’s fairly customizable. This will let you create entire pages that are 100% tailored to your brand.

Analytics tool

Tracking page performance is an incredibly important part of the process. I mean, how will you improve and learn which of your campaigns are getting more responses compared to others? Your reporting feature should be extensive enough and built into the platform so that you don’t need to outsource reports for lead page performance.

Platform integration

One of the most important things you need to do after you’ve created your lead prompt is export it onto the platform you want. This can be for emails, social media, or even your website. A marker of a good app is that this step is made easy and uncomplicated. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes and very little learning should be involved.

Page optimization

Unless you’re an SEO or graphic design pro, you’ll probably need a bit of prodding to make sure your page is as optimized as possible to maximize conversions. Find a platform that comes with optimization tools like an active SEO checker or A/B split testing.

Summary: All in all, just be sure that you take into account the individual needs of your business and yourself before you make a decision. I may be a big fan of Landingi, but that doesn’t mean other options won’t be the best for you. Just take it by the ear and give all your options a chance before committing to a single application.

The 10 best squeeze page builder software

Whether you want a free squeeze page builder or a paid one, you have plenty of options at your disposal. Personally, I like apps that have a free plan so I can play around with it before ultimately deciding that it’s the right one for me.

Below, I’ve listed some of the best options you have in the market, Keep in mind that my opinions are entirely my own. And that what I find to be the absolute best for me, might not be the same for you.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that you should take this article as a quick guide to point you in the right direction. The choice should ultimately be yours.

Landingi

best squeeze page builder

I bet you’ve heard of this software before. I mean, how could you have not? It’s one of the most popular options in the market and it offers great starter plans that can fit easily into most beginner budgets.

It’s fully-packed with several tools and features like an easy-to-use drag and drop editor. There are several theme options for you to consider that accommodate various niches so there’s definitely something for everyone.

One of its best features is that you’re able to integrate eCommerce functions. This means you can sell directly on your lead pages which streamlines your conversion process even more. Not to mention, it also removes the need for third-party applications.

I particularly enjoy the lead generation organizing tool, which is a built-in system that helps you manage and organize your leads within the platform. It will allow you to analyze prospective data as well as access all information provided by your leads.

Landingi starts at $55 a month and can cost as much as $149 for monthly access to all of its best features.

Landingi pros and cons

Pros
  • It offers competitive pricing options
  • The software design is streamlined and easy to navigate
  • There are over 200 templates to choose from
  • There are plenty of third party integration options
  • The customer service team is easy to reach
Cons
  • You will need to switch between mobile and desktop view to make sure your page looks good
  • There are limited lightbox options
  • Not all designs are mobile-responsive

Summary: Landingi is a good option if you want a tool that is easy and straightforward to use. It allows you to create entire pages within a few minutes, and it even gives you the ability to clone entire lead pages, which is a good feature to have if you create plenty of similar content. However, you might come across inconsistencies between device types.

Wix

best tools for digital marketing - wix

This web hosting software is a good option for your squeeze pages if you already have a Wix account. But even if you don’t it’s still something worth looking into if you want something affordable and reliable.

I’m fairly confident that you’re aware of Wix by now. After all, it’s one of the most popular website builders in the industry. But what makes it an ideal candidate for today’s agenda is that it’s filled with features that are designed to help you thrive completely.

I like its mobile-responsive template library and its user intuitiveness that just comes naturally as you explore the application. Furthermore, it comes with a built-in SEO tool so you don’t have to worry much about how you’re doing optimization-wise.

Wix offers a free forever plan which is a good idea if you don’t mind having wix branding on your page. But its plans can cost as low as $4.50 a month up to $24.50.

Wix pros and cons

Pros
  • It comes with an SEO tool
  • There are plenty of integration options
  • You can build your website on the platform and not just squeeze pages
  • The template library is a great resource with mobile responsive pages for multiple niches
  • It’s affordable and there is even a forever free plan
  • Their affiliate program is highly lucrative
  • It is very easy to use with virtually no learning curve
Cons
  • Once you choose a template and start editing, you won’t be able to change it
  • You can get easily overwhelmed with its feature set since it is quite extensive
  • The features are not the best in the industry which is the risk with platforms that try to offer too much

Summary: Wix is a decent option for you if you want to be able to build entire websites with a great feature range for a decidedly cheap cost. I’ll admit you may find that some of the features need improvement, and that you won’t be able to scale your business exponentially on the platform. But, it’s a great starting point for any business owner.

Getresponse

getresponse

This software is what I like to call an all-in-one tool for digital marketers and entrepreneurs. The reason why I feel confident enough to say this is that it’s got a decent feature set that includes most - if not all, of the tools you’ll need to scale a successful business.

I like how you’re able to create entire sales funnels on the platform to make the process easier and so you don’t need to rely on a third party application and integration to keep track of your funnels.

Aside from that, you should also be aware that there are multiple other features you just might fall in love with such as email marketing and CRM, autoresponders, eCommerce capabilities, and webinar hosting.

I’m not going to lie - it’s a bit tricky to get around at first. You will need to get familiar with all the features before you’re able to create truly effective campaigns. But for as low as $15 a month, I have to say that it isn’t too shabby an offer.

GetResponse pros and cons

Pros
  • Over 180 landing page template options to choose from
  • There is a wide range of tools for analytics including Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • You can host webinars on the platform
  • You have access to nearly all of the tools you’ll need to build an effective campaign
  • It’s reasonably-priced for its value
Cons
  • The user interface is not as intuitive as I would have liked, it needs improvement
  • You can’t use Facebook Pixel with its landing page feature without violating GDPR compliance

SummaryGetResponse tries very hard to be everything for everyone. And I respect that. It isn’t easy to develop software with a feature set as decent as this one has. However, you could say that it comes at the expense of the drag and drop builder’s user interface - which needs a lot of improvement.

Weebly

weebly

This platform is well-known for its site building applications. It’s clean-cut, easy to use and even has eCommerce capability which makes it ideal if you want to sell your products without using a third-party application.

Much like Wix, it also gives startups an affordable option when it comes to hosting your website. I like how the builder itself is quite easy to use. The UI is user-friendly and quite streamlined. I like how everything follows a specific process so you don’t feel lost.

But enough about that. I’m not here to tell you about why you should choose it as your website builder and provider. If you aren’t a fan of its competitors, you’ll enjoy how it gives you lightning-fast loading pages.

The same can be said for its lead pages. The editor is simple enough without limiting you too much from a creative point of view. Furthermore, its template options are more customizable compared to others.

And if you ever decide to migrate to another provider in the future, you can export your files, website, and pages to a different platform without much issues. You can get started with the free forever plan if you want to take it for a trial run first. But you can also connect your domain for as low as $5 a month.

Weebly pros and cons

Pros
  • The pages load quite quickly
  • There is a mobile app that you can use to build and manage your pages
  • The app center is extensive and contains a lot of useful applications
  • The themes are easily customizable so you don’t have to worry about your content looking the same as everyone else’s
  • The drag and drop builder is seamless and easy to navigate
  • There is a free forever plan
Cons
  • There are limited blogging tools on the platform
  • If you want the free plan, you will be stuck with using the Weebly domain extension
  • You need to be on a higher plan for better support

Summary: Weebly is a decent enough tool to use for creating your squeeze pages especially if you’re not a big fan of the previous web hosting options listed above. This means you’ll also be able to create entire websites on the platform. However, support is scarce and often difficult to reach unless you’re on a priority paid plan.

Kartra

Kartra review_home page

Dubbed as an all in one digital marketing resource that rivals ClickFunnels, this platform is a good choice if you’re looking for software that can help you create entire funnels.

As we all know a squeeze page is only one part of a sales funnel. An although most online marketers begrudgingly work towards creating a successful funnel, no one can deny that it’s a vital part to online success.

I say this because the main reason why you should choose Kartra is because of how it streamlines the process for you. Of course, it won’t do everything on your behalf, but it still gives you a good start and it helps you manage the results afterward.

It’s a bit on the expensive side starting at $99 a month. So don’t take it lightly. It’s a great option, but it might put you out of pocket for months at a time.

Kartra pros and cons

Pros
  • You can build entire sales funnels on the platform
  • It’s a complete digital marketing and CRM tool
  • The builder is easy to use and beginner-friendly
  • The helpdesk function helps you streamline your customer service efforts
  • You can give it a try for $1 for 14 days.
Cons
  • It’s quite expensive for startups
  • Not all of its features are great

Summary: A common risk associated with all-in-one software is that its features won’t all be great. And I have to admit that there are a few things that I could do without on this platform. That said, it’s a great tool to use if you want something that can handle all of your digital marketing needs. It is a bit expensive though, so if you’re a startup you might have a hard time with its fees.

Builderall

Builderall homepage

True to its namesake, this application allows you to build all kinds of pages for your website. And yes, that includes your site itself. I like how the editor is easy to use and well organized so that it isn’t distracting or counterproductive.

But more than that, it’s a catch-all software that comes with all the marketing tools you need to run your business. Think of it as a more affordable version of Kartra. Take note that the UI is HTML 5 run so if you’re expecting minimal creative freedom, then you’re going to be disappointed - or not.

Basically, you’ll be able to tailor your customer experience with a bit of coding skills. But if that’s not something you’re skilled in, the drag and drop builder is also a good tool to use for non-tech savvy users out there.

Furthermore, the editor can also be used to create graphics for your social media platforms or ad campaigns.

What’s great about the platform price-wise is that there’s a $1 trial period where you can access all of its features and offers. And when you’ve decided to go through with a paid plan, prices start at $29.9 a month.

Builderall pros and cons

Pros
  • It has all the tools you need to run a successful online business in one place
  • The plans are more affordable compared to other options in the market
  • The user interface is streamlined and easy to use
  • You’re able to create your own applications on the software
  • You’re covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee
Cons
  • The company tends to focus on adding new tools so bugs aren’t fixed in a timely manner
  • The tool selection is too wide and not all of them are great when compared to others in the market
  • The user interface isn’t as professional as it should be

Summary: This software is a good option for you if you want a more affordable alternative to Kartra. Take note though that it’s still quite expensive for anyone just starting out. That said, it does have a growing feature pool that you might find particularly interesting. I’m not too keen on all of its features though. Yes, you get to save quite a bit of money considering you have access to all the tools you’ll need. But they aren’t exactly the best tools in the market.

Leadpages

leadpages

This software promises to turn your leads into customers. It’s a pretty bold claim, to be honest. But in my experience, LP gives you as much chance and resources as it can to help you achieve your target conversion rates.

This application’s main use is for building squeeze pages and pop-up bars that will help you grow your mailing list. There are plenty of niches to choose from - which is important when you’re selecting your templates.

I also like that their design templates are split into campaign types. But more than that, there are over 130 drag and drop style guides to choose from. Now, if you aren’t happy with the free options, there’s always the option to access the premium library for an added fee.

Other than that, you should also know that the UI is responsive, and smooth. I like how it’s beginner-friendly, but that it also gives you a lot of creative freedom to do what you want if you know how to.

There is a 14-day free trial that I suggest you look into before making any commitments. After which, you can choose from any of their three paid plans which start at $27 a month.

Leadpages pros and cons

Pros
  • The UI is well-designed and user friendly
  • The drag and drop builder combined with the templates make it easier to build well-optimized landing pages
  • The design options are great and cater to a lot of niches and campaign types
  • You can sort your landing pages according to their conversion rate
  • You can easily integrate it with multiple other platforms
Cons
  • Some of the templates are not flexible so you won’t be able to make significant changes
  • There are few styling options that might make it difficult to tailor certain templates to your branding
  • You’ll encounter a few bugs here and there

Summary: Leadpages is a good option if you want high-converting campaigns that can be built in a few minutes. It’s well-priced, although if you’re comparing it to an all-in-one platform, it may seem overpriced. That said, it’s good at what it does, and is a good option if you’re not really design-oriented.

Thrive Themes

Thrivethemes

If you’re a fan of WordPress then Thrive Suite might suit you just well. This software is best known as the largest page and website builder on the WP platform. And it comes with more than just a handful of great features to help you build and run a successful business from day one.

I quite like how it’s flexible so you’re able to use it as a beginner and you’re also able to explore other design choices when needed. It also comes with its own app store where you can select tools and features that you need to add specifically for your pages and website.

Basically, you’ll be able to run everything off of WordPress. And while it may not be the cheapest option in the long run, it does a pretty good job of giving you options that are competitive when put up against other tools in the market.

Plans start at $19 a month which means it’s relatively affordable on top of your WP subscription.

Thrive Themes pros and cons

Pros
  • The developers do a great job of keeping bugs out while giving you a smooth experience on the application
  • There are a lot of options when it comes to plugins
  • It creates mobile-responsive pages
  • The templates are optimized and well-designed
Cons
  • It’s only compatible with WordPress
  • It’s a bit more complicated so you will spend a bit of time learning how to use it
  • It’s mostly geared for marketing purposes

Summary: Thrive Themes, Thrive Architect, Thrive Suite, whatever you want to call it - is a decent choice if you want something tailored to WP. So if you’re hosting your domain on the provider, this is the safest bet you’ll have. It has a few kinks here and there, but it’s overall very competitive for its price.

Unbounce

unbounce review_homepage

One of the best things about this platform is that it’s geared towards reducing your bounce rates and improving your conversion percentage. Sounds like a dream right?

It sounds obnoxious and idealistic, but the platform has plenty of good testimonials going for it.

This means a lot of marketers trust it, and for good reason - it gives you nearly all the resources you need to build well-optimized squeeze pages.

Although it isn’t the same as the likes of Instapage, UB is quite a quick way to build your landing pages. You’ll gain access to hundreds of design styles that are already optimized for conversion so you don’t have to worry much about getting your point across to your viewers.

If you’re someone like me who likes to make sure I put out the best possible version of my offers and pages out there, you’ll enjoy the unlimited A/B split testing feature on the platform. Accompanied by the Dynamic text Replacement tool, you’ll be able to make changes in just a few quick seconds.

The software comes with a 14-day free trial which I always recommend. But after that, you should be prepared to shell out at least $80 a month for the Launch plan.

Unbounce pros and cons

Pros
  • You’re able to build pages in a few minutes
  • It’s easy to create various versions of your pages for A/B split testing
  • The templates directory is extensive and packed with really great options
  • You also have access to third party template sources like ThemeForest
  • The designs are easily customizable to fit your branding
  • The builder is easy to use and well-organized
Cons
  • You’re only able to split test pages you created on the software
  • It’s quite expensive

Summary: If you want access to a tool that will help you raise your conversion percentage, then Unbounce is one of the best choices in the market. It’s well-developed, and its developers are laser-focused on helping you build quality landing pages. That said, it is quite expensive. So if you decide to pursue it, you should be prepared to shoulder the costs.

Simvoly

simvoly home page

Last but not the least, this platform developed in 2016 is another entry in the all-in-one digital marketing software market. Since its launch, it has gathered quite the following and is steadily growing in popularity over time.

It’s mostly designed for driving hot leads that will eventually turn into sales. This means that it’s a great resource and option for you if that’s your main goal. There are a handful of features that I believe are worth noting such as the website and store builders, mobile-responsive themes, sales funnel and squeeze page creator, and blogging capability.

Basically, it has everything you need to venture out into the world of digital marketing. Or you know, starting your own online business. It is quite new though, so it still has a lot of catching up to do but it is interesting to see how far it’s come since initially stepping out into the market.

Its paid plans start at $18 a month which makes it startup-friendly. At the very least, it will help you scale your business without putting you out of pocket.

Simvoly pros and cons

Pros
  • Its user interface is intuitive and user-friendly
  • Its web themes are beautifully designed and are professionally optimized to lead conversions
  • The blogging tools are great and easy to use
  • Its pricing tiers are affordable and reasonable even to newbies
  • Its user interface is streamlined and is usually free from bugs
Cons
  • You don’t have access to email marketing so you’ll need to outsource it
  • It’s relatively new so it has a lot of catching up to do
  • The builder is pretty basic

Summary: Simvoly is a good option for you if you’re looking for a simple UI that’s relatively bug-free that comes with professionally designed templates. It’s affordable, and it comes with features that will help you grow your business in no time. But it’s not exactly a catch-all solution since it doesn’t have email marketing capabilities.

Conclusion: final words

If you ask me, you can never go wrong with Landingi. It’s one of the best in the market, and it’s one I’ve personally used numerous times before. That said, I recognize that it might not be the right choice for you.

That’s why I think it’s important for you to look into your other choices. For example, Unbounce is a great resource for anyone who wants high-converting pages. On the other hand, you might want to look into Kartra if you need a highly optimized all in one platform.

Or if you like WordPress like me, you might choose ThriveThemes.

Whatever your choice, I’m confident we’ve covered all the bases in this review. Just make sure you take the time to think about it before you go ahead and sign up for a membership.

Remember, your business has very specific needs. Make sure you do your best to meet them.
