There are basically five sections in this category. Each of them can be used to source content for a variety of social platforms, which means you don’t have to worry about duplicate content.

You can share relevant articles to your feeds in a snap. Simply look through this selection of articles gathered from thousands of online sources. It’s great if you want to break up your branded content and share something interesting without a second thought.

RSS feed

Here, you’ll be able to add any RSS feed that you want to start curating. It’s easy and can be done directly on your dashboard. All you need to do is type in your feed name, choose the feed, and wait for the results.

Luckily, you’ll be able to see previews of your posts on the software. What’s more, it automatically fixes how your posts will look according to the social media app you’re planning to publish it to.

With everything that goes on on a daily basis when you’re running a business, I understand it can be difficult to keep up with posting schedules, and content. It’s not that you don’t care, it’s that it can get overwhelming to try and remember to do so many things each day.

Not everyone is great with numbers. I’ll be honest with you and tell you that I used to hate looking at analytic reports. There’s usually too much information all at a single time and it just made my head swim to even think about it anymore.

Now, this category has four sections. Each of which shows you a different angle of your analytic reports. The best thing about it is that it’s easy to read but still detailed enough so you can take a closer look at everything going on with your content strategy.

This is a great tool for social media managers who work with clients. Or someone who owns a business and just wants a comprehensive report to add to their files. You’ll basically be able to customize the reports to show the exact data you want to highlight.

Basically, you’ll get to select which aspects of your strategy you want to showcase, and then you’ll be able to export a copy as a PowerPoint presentation or PDF. There are also a few benefits to this feature that I think are worth noting: 

  • You’ll be able to add any and all social media channels to a single report
  • You can pick a ready to use template
  • You can schedule weekly or monthly reports to be sent to your email

Advanced analytics

Here, you’ll be able to take a close look at how your viewers and followers are reacting to your channels. It’s a great section to look into if you want a highly detailed report with customized insights for each pain point that you want to highlight.

For businesses, it will help you better understand your ROI and help you fine-tune your content strategy so you can find areas that you need to work on. Like the previous feature, you’ll also be able to export it as a PDF or PPT.

Competitor reports

No, it doesn’t show you an in-depth report of your competitor’s social media strategy. But what it does is compare your results with your competitors to help you gauge how well you’re doing.

You’ll be able to find your competitor's top-performing posts, highlight what strategies are working for them, and basically get a quick insight into how they’re doing on social media.

Last but not the least, the overview feature allows you to take a quick glance at how well you’re doing on a daily basis. You’ll be able to monitor the number of posts you’ve shared for the day, keep an eye on your engagement, and track your followers, fans, and subscribers.

Like I said, I’m not a big fan of data blocks. I know it’s helpful, but if you’re someone like me, you’ll understand why it can be frustrating. That’s why I find the way Crowdfire structures its analytics to be extremely helpful.

I can easily select which data I want to see, and it automatically shares the right information with me. Plus, I can schedule reports whenever I want so I don't’ forget.

Mentions

This feature set is something you should be excited about if you’re having trouble with maintaining engagement and keeping track of posts and comments mentioning your accounts. It will all basically be readily available on a single dashboard so you don’t have to worry about it anymore. You’ll simply scroll around and take a look at everything.

Honestly, it’s really neat. Not just because you can see everything from a single screen, but also because you’ll be able to respond immediately without getting redirected somewhere else.

For example, when you’re looking at Instagram, you have to think about how many notifications you missed if you weren’t available for a single day. And when you click to respond on a comment, you’ll have to open a new window to view the entire post.

Here, you’ll be able to do everything without exiting the dashboard. Plus, it automatically tracks every mention you get on Twitter. You’ll even be able to add gifs and photos to your comments using the mobile app.

I found that I really enjoyed the user interface on the team inbox. At first glance, it might look like a lot of information pooled into one place, but what it really is a way to view everything you need to respond to on a single screen.

Once you get the hang of it, you’ll definitely enjoy running through your mentions and messages. I recommend spending ten minutes at a time to respond, and then doing other tasks just so you don’t feel drained.

What I like about the platform is that you can check out the free forever plan that gives you access to multiple tools and features. Unlike other platforms that severely limit you on the unpaid plans, you’ll be able to really take the software for a proper test drive. Other than that, there are three premium plans for you to choose from.

You can also choose between an annual or monthly billing cycle. Let’s take a closer look at your options.

Free plan 

This is something I’d recommend for anyone who isn’t too sure about Crowdfire just yet. You are somewhat limited since you’ll only be able to schedule up to 10 posts per account at a time for each account.

This would mean that you could schedule a week ahead, but not more than that. Still, it’s a great deal for anyone who is just trying to test the waters.

You’ll also have the ability to link to four supported social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. However, you will only be able to link up to three accounts. Still, not a dealbreaker in my opinion since you’re using the platform for free.

You’ll also be able to access the Chrome extension for sharing articles, have unlimited access to image and article curation, plus curate content from your own channels like Youtube, WordPress, Shopify, Etsy, Vimeo, Twitch, and more.

Other features on the free forever plan include hashtag recommendations, auto-tailored posts and previews for each platform, and 1-day data social and advanced analytics.

All in all, I’d say that the free plan gives you more than you can hope for. Just give it a try. I think you’ll really end up liking it.

Plus

This plan costs either $7.48 per month annually or $9.99 per month on monthly billing. You’ll get access to all the free plan features with a handful of additional perks such as Pinterest posting capabilities, linking up to 5 accounts, the ability to schedule up to 100 posts at a time per account, custom posting schedules, and support for video content.

Moreover, you’ll also be able to connect up to five RSS feeds, get support for multiple image posts, access post analytics, 30 days of social analytics, and 90 days of advanced analytics.

As for the mobile app, you won’t have to worry about ads bothering you. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind it much on the free plan - since it’s free. But it’s a good idea to remove the ads once you’re a paying customer.

Premium 

Next, this plan costs either $37.48 a month for annual billing or $49.99 a month on a monthly cycle. It’s best designed for medium businesses, and you get everything on the previous plans plus the ability to connect up to 10 social media accounts. Of course, you’ll only have five supported social networks to choose from, but it’s still a great deal.

On this tier, you’ll be able to bulk schedule posts and schedule with the calendar view. This means you can schedule more content at a time, freeing up your schedule more efficiently.

You’ll also be able to connect up to 15 RSS feeds, track and reply to all your mentions on the team inbox, gain competitor insight for up to two competitors per account, add and manage one profile and team member. 

And you’ll also have access to email support which isn’t available on the other plans. This way, it will be easier for you to track your concerns.

VIP

Last but not the least, this plan costs $74.98 a month on annual billing or $99.99 a month on a monthly cycle. You’ll be able to link up to 25 accounts and schedule up to 800 posts at a time per account which makes it ideal for agencies and larger businesses.

You’ll also be able to track up to 20 competitors per account, add and manage 2 profiles and team members (with the ability to purchase more slots), and get priority email support. So all your concerns will be tended to more quickly than others.

Summary

All in all, you can’t really complain much when it comes to plans. As you can see, they’re very generous with your feature set no matter which plan you’re on. In fact, the free plan can even get startups by for a year or two if they don’t change their social media strategy much.

Hey, if it’s working, why change it right? But really, I think it’s a great idea to try out the software for free before jumping into a larger paid commitment. Overall, I think the feature set is great and that you’re definitely getting great value for your money - or time, no matter which way you look at it.

I don’t want to disillusion you, but there are definitely a few drawbacks to the platform. It’s important to understand them so you don’t end up regretting your choice moving forward.

Crowdfire review: is it worth my time?

This Crowdfire app review walked you through everything you needed to know. And believe me, the first time I came across it, I felt skeptical too so I understand why you’re looking for reviews online. After all, there are about a dozen other apps that claim to do what this particular one can.

But what I can tell you is that Crowdfire has managed to exceed my expectations the moment I tested out the free plan. I found that I came across very few bugs and that the customer support team was more than happy to tend to my concerns.

I really like how the plans are well-structured so you’re getting the most value for your money. And what’s more, you’ll also have access to well-designed features that have been precisely designed to help you gain followers, refine your content strategy, and raise your engagement.

Overall, I think it’s worth taking a look. Even if you’re just going to try out the free plan. In fact, you should definitely give it a whirl before subscribing. You’ll get to test out most of its features, and it definitely works well.
