What are they?

Marketers have long been torn between the two giants in the funneling space: ClickFunnels and DropFunnels. Both are powerful tools that can help any biz grow, but choosing the right one for your needs can be a tough decision.

While each offers different features, both offer similar services to those looking to get their business up and running.

The difference lies within the campaign management center, where the emphasis centers on creating powerful marketing campaigns.

Let's take a closer look at what each of these two are.

DropFunnels is a powerful marketing tool that allows marketers to build, manage, and automate campaigns across multiple sales channels. Its marketing software has three core components: Pages, Funnels, and Sales.

DropFunnels Vs ClickFunnels Comparison 2022

DropFunnels' main purpose is to help you create sales funnels with sales pages and lead capture forms that are designed to convert your visitors into leads for your business.

DropFunnel's page builder allows you to choose from over 100 different page templates that come with both free and paid options.

  • Accessible.
  • Great drag and drop page builder.
  • Flexible funnel types like lead generation, email lists, and opt-in pages.
  • Customer support available 24/7 via live chat, or email.

  • Not mobile-friendly
  • Takes more time to build pages
  • Less freedom in design
  • Has a limited free account

What is ClickFunnels is another powerful funneling tool that comes with a drag-and-drop editor to allow you to build and design your pages

You can choose from over 147 templates or create your own unique page using the editor.

ClickFunnels includes other features such as Lead Capture Pages and Landing Pages, which are designed for online lead generation for your business.

  • Great customer support.
  • Easy to use.
  • Offers a 14-day free trial period with no credit card required.
  • Comes with several lead generation tools.

  • Lacks a lot of customization options.
  • Can be a bit difficult to understand for beginners.

Before we get down to the most important part of this comparison - which is the price, let's talk about the features both of these platforms have to offer first. Keep in mind that they're very similar programs, so they'll have similar features as well.

Here, we're going to take a deeper look at each of these features and determine a winner for each category. Without further ado, let's get started.

The page builder

Both ClickFunnels and DropFunnels have their own page builder that you can use to create and design your sales pages. Both are drag-and-drop editors that allow you to customize your pages however you want.

page build

With both, you'll also be able to integrate with your favorite email marketing program like Mailchimp, Aweber, GetResponse or Constant Contact.

In both programs, you'll also be able to add different elements such as text boxes, buttons, images and more on your page.

If you want to know which page builder is better, I would say that it depends on your personal preference. DropFunnels and ClickFunnels both offer features that will help you easily create sales pages in no time at all.

If you're doing a lot of lead generation for your business, then ClickFunnels' landing pages might be a good fit for your business.

However, the ClickFunnel page builder is slightly more user-friendly. That said, it's a very small difference and both tools are quite similar.

The Winner: ClickFunnels

Third-party integration

Both tools offer a lot of different third-party integrations, which can prove helpful for your business. Let's take a look at what each has to offer.

Not only can both of these programs integrate with Mailchimp and a number of other email marketing tools, but they have an auto-responder feature that you can use to automatically respond to new contacts and direct them towards your autoresponder sequence.

DropFunnels also has a text message marketing feature that you can use to convert more online leads into customers.

ClickFunnels has a special "API integrator" feature that allows you to integrate your business with multiple payment processors, including Stripe, PayPal, and other gateways.

Both allow you to connect your business with major e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and BigCommerce.

Both tools are very similar in this regard and they both offer an impressive list of third-party integrations that will help your business grow. However, ClickFunnels has slightly more third-party integrations to choose from.

Winner: ClickFunnels

Page speed optimization

Both ClickFunnels and DropFunnels have the ability to optimize your pages for speed. Speed is an important factor when it comes to optimizing your website, as Google favors fast-loading pages.

Nearly half of the internet runs on WordPress, something you may not know if you've never used it.

This is due to a variety of factors, but one of the most important ones is that if your website is built on WordPress, it will load significantly quicker. Your sales will increase as a result of faster-loading web pages.

DropFunnels are considerably quicker than ClickFunnels since they are based on WordPress.

There have really been numerous funnels that were initially established in ClickFunnels that have been remade in DropFunnels and the page load time has increased from roughly 30 seconds to less than a second.

DropFunnels is the clear winner in terms of page load time.

Winner: DropFunnels

Search engine optimization

ClickFunnels focuses on enabling its customers to swiftly build up and execute sales funnels using a variety of custom domains.

This has several advantages, but the disadvantage is that it significantly reduces your chances of ranking high on Google and harms your SEO. DropFunnels, on the other hand, is built on WordPress and only supports one domain per account.

This means that a greater number of sites can be supported per account and your SEO will be significantly better.

This limitation is really a major benefit if you want to focus on SEO for not only driving visitors to your blog but also ranking your sales funnels in Google!

Furthermore, if you have the budget for it, you can connect your sales funnel directly to your website by purchasing an SSL certificate. Personally, I recommend doing this if you have the budget.

Winner: DropFunnels

Ease of use

ClickFunnels is definitely easier to use than DropFunnels, as it is less complicated. It may be more difficult to create your ideal sales funnel with ClickFunnels, but once you do create one, it will likely be easier to use.

ClickFunnels also has a variety of helpful guides and tutorials that you can use to learn how to build your own sales funnel. There are also a number of videos on their website that you can watch.

DropFunnels does have a tutorial feature, but it is much more limited than ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels has more documentation, as well as a variety of helpful videos to make the process easier.

Winner: ClickFunnels

Building funnels is no easy task. I'm going to be very honest with you, I've made a lot of mistakes trying to build funnels on both ClickFunnels and DropFunnels.

I've wasted a lot of time and money, and there are a lot of pitfalls to avoid when you're trying to create the perfect sales funnel.

So what's the difference between the two tools?

There are a lot of similarities, but they both have some additional features that make build funnels a bit easier. This is especially true if you're looking to build multiple pages and multiple funnels.

ClickFunnels' drag-and-drop page builder takes the headache out of building funnels. It allows you to drag and drop elements on the page and put them in the perfect position. This makes it a lot easier to build your sales funnel.

For example, if you want to build a sales page that has a video followed by an opt-in form, you can easily do so with ClickFunnels' page builder.

You can also use the built-in analytics tool to see how effective your sales funnel is at generating leads.

Furthermore, you can use ClickFunnels to install and manage multiple funnels, which is something that DropFunnels doesn't provide.

Each sales funnel you build using ClickFunnels has its own landing page.

There are some things to bear in mind, though; because each individual funnel has its own landing page, if you have any troubles with a particular funnel, you will have trouble with all of them.

It is important to keep this in mind when building your sales funnels and your other pages.

On the other hand, you can use DropFunnels' drag and drop site builder to create pages, but you can only use it to build one page. It doesn't let you create multiple overlapping landing pages.

Another major difference between the two is that ClickFunnels doesn't provide with a visual editor for your sales pages. One of the most frustrating things about creating an ideal sales funnel is testing how effective it will be.

If you spend hours writing your sales page, don't expect to have time in the future to edit it. If you're not a good writer, this tool can be a bit of a pain to work with.

Winner: ClickFunnels

ClickFunnels pricing begins at $97/month and goes up to $297/month. You get the most value at the highest price point, but this is not too bad if you're only starting out and don't have much money to spend.

If you have a limited budget, the basic plan is still very powerful. However, it is still understandably expensive.

On the other hand, DropFunnels comes at a more reasonable price. It doesn't have tiered pricing for the different plan levels. Instead, each account has all the features and can create an unlimited number of landing pages.

One of the best features of DropFunnels is that it comes with a free 14-day trial. This allows you to see if you like it before you have to pay anything.

The standard plan starts at $49 /month, but it also comes with a 14-day trial.

The lowest tier plan is $97/month and with this plan, you can create up to 20 landing pages.

Winner: DropFunnels

ClickFunnels vs DropFunnels: who wins?

In order to decide which tool is better, we need to look at their major features.

This is a tough question because both tools are immensely useful. They each have their ups and downs, but they're both very powerful.

So what's the answer?

I'm not going to tell you that one tool is better than the other, but I will tell you who wins in my opinion.

In my opinion, the winner is…

DropFunnels. It's a simple and easy to use sales funnel builder that's friendly on your wallet. The interface is intuitive and you can see the results of your efforts right away.
