The software features a customized dashboard, widgets and much more so that users can track key metrics from their website and social media. It's all managed by a dashboard that allows users to access, update and monitor information from the platform.

I quite like how everything is condensed into one platform - that's just something that I truly appreciate. With GoHighLevel I'm able to monitor my website performance and social media activities in a single place. Even if you already have an extensive marketing strategy in place, I really think the software can help streamline your processes.

There are generally three pricing plans to choose from. They're affordable enough in my honest opinion. However, if you're just starting out, then you may not have the same views as I do - and that's okay. There's other kinds of CRM software you can use out there which we'll discuss later. For now, let's take a closer look at its pricing offers.

Agency starter 

For $97 a month, the Agency starter account lets you enable two-way texting, send unlimited text messages, and set up 1 client or use it for your own agency.

The most popular plan, the agency unlimited plan starts at $297 a month. You get unlimited text messages, unlimited contact management and the ability to setup unlimited sub accounts. Furthermore, you'll also have access to the branded desktop app where you can use your domain to create a customized platform that suits your needs.

White label mobile app plus custom zap upgrade

Last but not the least, for an additional $497 a month, you can have access to a custom mobile app created for you, a custom zap made for your brand, and more.

Other pricing considerations

I know it sounds quite expensive. At nearly $300 a month, you normally wouldn't find me anywhere near a platform as expensive as this. However, the extensive feature set that the platform offers include the following:

Overall, I really like how much you can save when you use the platform. If you're a small business owner with a tight budget, then this might be a really good solution for you.

As I mentioned before, the platform certainly has its fair share of impressive features to offer. From your usual CRM and pipeline management tools to more advanced sales funnel builders, there's nothing quite like it. 

A common concern I have when dealing with all-in-one tools is that most of the time they don't deliver the best results. It's inevitable - most of the work is spread out in order to meet the basic necessities of each feature instead of working hard and focusing on one feature at a time.

That said, here's my honest review of what GoHighLevel has to offer:

User interface

The platform's user interface is pretty slick and easy-to-use. Everything is set up on a single page where you can organize all the information you need in an uncluttered way. The dashboard features separate tabs for analytics, data, leads and other features which certainly helps to keep things clear and distinct. So far, I haven't experienced any bugs or issues with the platform - everything seems to flow really well.

You probably already know by now how difficult it is to get onboarded with a new app. It takes hours - if not days, to get everything settled. By the end of a week, you should ideally already know the platform well enough like the back of your hand.

Otherwise, you may be wasting time trying to figure out how to fix simple issues. That said, I think you'll appreciate how noob-friendly the platform is. You won't have to go through any lengthy onboarding processes. Everything is set up for you with step-by-step instructions. That makes it a lot easier to get started as soon as possible.

Onboarding

The platform has a series of onboarding videos that will help make your life much easier. The video tutorials are easy to understand and take you through all the basic steps on how to use the platform. For example, if you need a quick overview of how to set up your first campaign, then take a look at this video below.

From there, you'll be able to create your first campaign and start tracking its progress - pretty simple! Another helpful addition from the platform is their dashboard chat feature. If you prefer live chat, then that's a great option for you. It lets you connect with the platform's customer service team 24 hours a day and get immediate assistance for virtually any problems or issues with the platform.

Although, I have to say that the onboarding videos were so thorough and easy to understand that I felt like I didn't need any immediate help at all. By the end of the series, I was able to work everything out for myself. I imagine a newbie would be able to as well.

Customer support

When I used the platform, I honestly didn't have any issues with it. Everything was working fine for me and that's great! However, I know a lot of users may find themselves in a bit of a jam.

That's why it's important for the platform to have some good customer support. As you may know, customer support is important for any software platform out there - whether you're using an all-in-one sales software or something else entirely.

Luckily, GoHighLevel provides a 24/7 support option that you can easily reach through the platform's chat feature. In case you have any issues, then go ahead and use their live chat feature to get your problem solved right away.

I like how responsive and eager to help their support team is. It's a pleasure to deal with their team and that definitely gave me an extra reason to like the platform.

Email marketing

As a small business owner, email marketing is one of the most important parts of your marketing strategy. It's a channel you simply can't ignore if you plan on growing your company in any capacity.

Email marketing is such an effective channel because it gives you the ability to build a deep and personal connection with your clients by maintaining a regular correspondence with them.

That said, it's important for any email marketing platform to offer some useful features that make it simple for users to get started right away. For example, it is so convenient for me to use a tool such as GoHighLevel. 

One of the things that I love about email marketing from this platform is the smart layout features. I can easily get an idea of what my emails should look like and the layout of each email is really easy to create. Entire campaigns took me no more than 20 minutes each time, and that's only when I was feeling quite picky with the campaign.

SMS marketing

Small business marketing through SMS is another extremely important tool if you want to grow your company in any capacity. The ability to send out text messages to your clients helps build a strong personal connection and gives you the chance to hear what's on their mind.

That said, when it comes to marketing through SMS, some features are much better than others. For example, I really like the SMS generating feature of the platform for starters. It lets me create an unlimited number of messages without having any problems with that aspect at all. So, you can send out as many SMS messages as you need for your campaigns and it works really well.

On the other hand, I don't quite like the fact that you can send out SMS messages to only one country at a time. For example, I was using the platform to send texts to my clients using my own phone number. If I wanted to start marketing in a new country, then I would have had to create a new account. That's a bit of an inconvenience for me and it limits the number of countries where I can market.

Unlimited sales funnels

If you're a fan of sales funnels - and who isn't? - then you'll be glad to find out that GoHighLevel provides unlimited sales funnels for the unlimited agency account. I know a lot of platforms limit the number of sales funnels and that's not always convenient.

In my experience, it was quite easy to build a new funnel as well and I didn't have any problems with it. That said, it may depend on your level of expertise when using basic funnel builders like this one.

The funnel builder isn't the most advanced. However, it's quite intuitive to use. I like how it helps me get the job done with minimal fuss - cutting down my time in half. This way, I can focus on taking a power nap or growing the business even more.

Website builder

When it comes to a small business, you need a website that's as effective as possible. Website building is one of the many ways you can improve your online presence and help expand your business.

I have always been a big fan of easy to use website builders because they make it easy for me to get my job done without any problems. When I use GoHighLevel's website builder, I know that it will be able to provide me with what I need and continue growing my business at the same time.

So, I guess the website builder is one of the things that just about any small business owner will want to give a try. It's a tool that helps you create an effective website for your company and provides some more useful features at the same time.

The platform's website builder is quite simple to use. The drag and drop page builder makes it especially easy to create whatever type of website you may need for your clients - all while keeping their profile secure and private at all times, of course.

Call tracking

Call tracking is a feature that many business owners like to use, myself included. It's important because it helps you understand the actions of your clients and gives you the opportunity to take necessary actions on the call.

As I've said earlier, it's another useful feature in my opinion because it helps me keep track of what my clients are doing while they're on my calls. This way, I know exactly what areas to improve upon and how best to build a deeper connection with them.

That said, I do have one complaint about the call tracking feature - it doesn't seem to work as well as I would like it to. When I got my first client through GoHighLevel, I noticed that the call tracking didn't seem to work all too well on their side. In fact, it was quite difficult for me to track calls and get any information from them at all. 

It wasn't very easy for me to figure out what the call was about and what exactly my client was doing on their end. I guess it's important to test the usability of call tracking features before using those features in your marketing campaigns.

Since then though, I believe the platform has made adjustments. I don't often use this feature, so I'll have to take their word on it for now. That said, the feature is still a great bonus - if you figure out how it works.

Surveys and forms

Surveys and forms are two features that any business owner should leverage to the fullest. In fact, I know a lot of business owners that use surveys and forms as an integral part of their marketing campaigns.

Specifically, I like how the platform lets me create unlimited surveys for my clients. This gives me the opportunity to get useful feedback from my clients and show them what areas they should improve upon - in other words, making them feel like they're being heard by their agent.

The survey builder is quite intuitive to use as well. I like how it makes it easy for me to create surveys in just a few minutes. In fact, I can create surveys and forms based on the feedback I get from my clients, which makes for a very smooth process.

Insta-action forms are also available, which means my clients will have access to forms that allow them to instantly tell me what they need or want from me and how they would like to proceed. With that data in hand, I can make it easier for them to budget their finances and proceed with their business marketing goals.

I had some technical issues when using the platform's forms. Whenever I attempted to add a form to one of my landing pages, it kept on telling me that there was an issue with the form. Since then though, the problem has been resolved. So let me just warn you that you may encounter a few bugs here and there.

Booking and appointments

Finally, I'm very excited to share that the platform offers in-app appointment scheduling. This feature makes it easy for me to schedule appointments with my clients and see them on schedule. So, it's important to make sure that your clients are available at the time you're trying to schedule appointments for them. It also helps me ensure that my clients will be able to make decisions based on their current schedule.

The system itself is quite easy to use. I like how I can easily bring my clients into the appointment scheduling feature and enter in their availability at the same time. Then, they can see the available times and choose what works best for them. This way, they won't have to wait around for you to be available, all the information they need will be within reach.

CRM and pipeline management

In order to keep track of your clients, it makes sense to use a CRM. This way, you'll be able to get a good understanding of what your clients' needs are. This way, you can make it easier for them to budget their finances and make the best possible decision for their marketing and business needs.

The platform has an effective CRM feature. It's easy to use as well - I just had to sign in with my email address and password, and I was ready to go.

The platform also offers a feature that allows me to keep track of my clients' information - their names, contact information, and phone numbers. When possible, I like to see this data in real-time. I like how the platform makes it very easy for me to get that information by using their CRM feature.

I think the CRM tool is a good feature to have because it helps me stay in touch with my clients and stay updated on the decisions they've made. In other words, it prevents me from having to chase them around for information and updates.

On the other hand, your pipeline manager can help you see exactly in which stage your leads are. This way, you can curate your strategy based on their needs and current interests.

GoHighLevel has an excellent desktop app that allows me to track my leads and clients. There's plenty here to like - the first of which is their call tracker. It works very well here and is easy to use.

It also allows me to create forms, which makes it easy for my clients to fill out their information - including their email addresses and contact preferences - in just a few moments. Their phone app is also worth a mention because it's super intuitive and easy to use as well.

What I like most about the desktop app is that I can connect it with my domain to make sure it stays on-brand to fulfil my needs at any given time. Customizing it is quite easy as well - you don't really need any prior tech experience.

However, there is a slight learning curve that you need to watch out for. For example, I made quite a few mistakes by entering the wrong API key and such. Overall, it might take you around 30 minutes to master the app.

Tracking and analytics

It's important for me to make sure that I'm always on top of my game. This way, I know exactly what's working and what isn't. It helps me come up with an effective marketing strategy that can help my clients and I benefit as much as possible.

The platform has a feature that allows me to track the sources of traffic that drive traffic towards my website. Specifically, it allows me to see how many leads are coming from SEO, PPC, affiliates, and other sources - such as social media.

I like how I can also see the conversion rate of my leads. This way, I can make it easier for me to convert my leads into clients and prices will start coming in.

What I really like though is their lead generation feature. It helps me see which of my campaigns are generating the most amount of traffic, giving me a pretty good idea on where I should focus next. This way, I'll be able to maximize the effectiveness of these campaigns and keep them up-to-date at all times.

Furthermore, I like how detailed and informative the analytics feature is. It gives me the numbers and statistics I need to know in order to make strategic decisions that will help me generate more leads.

GoHighLevel also has a feature that allows me to set automatic reminders for my clients. This way, I can get them to sign up and pay for their policies without having to worry about missing payments or simply forgetting about it.

Courses/products

The platform offers a plethora of courses that can help me achieve my goals effectively. One that I would like to mention though is their conversion rate optimization course - which allows me to convert leads into clients at a much faster rate.

I also like the scope of information that is covered in their courses. It's pretty much everything you need to know about marketing, which is what I like the most.

When it comes to product packages and pricing, you can either get premium packages or use their basic package to see how the platform works. It's a good idea to try out their free version first before making a decision on whether to upgrade or pay for it.

Reputation management

I like how GoHighLevel's reputation management tool allows me to see exactly what my clients are saying about me and my business, helping me promote itself as a professional service. It also gives me the opportunity to respond or take action when necessary.

The platform does have a review system as well - I just have to log in and add reviews for my clients and lead accounts. While this is where I get the most valuable feedback, it's only a small portion of what I can offer. Overall, the platform is a viable and strong platform that offers a lot of value to any business owner and their clients. It's easy to use, and everything fits nicely.

I know the platform can help me in many ways, which is why I am very happy with it so far. I really look forward to using it for the long term and seeing how it grows over time.

There are a handful of other marketing tools that have made the cut. They all make great platforms, but the one that stands out the most to me is Kartra. Kartra is a really solid all-in-one automation tool, which is what really sets them apart.

Their reviews are extremely helpful - which is why I like using their platform the most.

While they do have a few other important features and tools, it's mainly the one that is most impressive to me. I would highly recommend starting with Kartra if you want a great but inexpensive all in one marketing platform. 

Furthermore, Kartra has a really good reputation in the online business field as well, which is why I would rather use them for my business' needs if I had to make that choice. Once you've set it up, it's pretty easy to learn how to use it and customize the platform accordingly.

The only negative thing I could say about Kartra is that their chat feature seems to be a bit delayed at times. However, it's not super noticeable when it comes to actually using the platform. I think that this is a pretty minor inconvenience, and once you get the hang of it, you'll see how often it's used anyway.

Overall, GoHighLevel is a really good and effective platform. It offers a lot of value and helps me in many ways. I would highly recommend this all ine one software to any business owner who wants to get ahead of the game when it comes to providing great, quality service for their clients.
