When you think about a side hustle, I’m sure your goal isn’t to earn 50 dollars a day online. Most of the time, when you ask someone, they’ll tell you they want to make millions off their passion. 

But that isn’t realistic in most cases - not to mention, it takes a while before you’ll actually get anywhere near close to your goal. What you should be doing is starting small. Once you overcome certain hurdles, you’ll quickly find yourself at the finish line having achieved way more than you initially thought possible. 

So, here’s my quick how to make 50 dollars a day guide to help you on the road to financial stability.

There’s no such thing as an instant 50 dollar money giving tree that will dispense half a hundred bucks at will each day for you to enjoy. And while there are plenty of get rich quick schemes out there that claim to fill your wallets in an instant, you’ll most likely need to wait a few days at least, or put in a significant amount of hard work to see it into reality.

But since you’re asking, the absolute EASIEST - if there even is such a thing, a way to earn 50 bucks each day is going the online route.

Nearly the whole world has gone digital. There are virtually no limitations to shopping, setting appointments, and even working. It all fits in a handy screen that you’re staring at right now. 

As you’re reading this, you’re actually viewing one of the ways I rake in extra dough. Although it wasn’t always as lucrative as it is now, I started out small - earning $10 each day, and eventually made my way to where I am now. 

Of course, that’s only one point of view to look at it from. What you didn’t see is the year I spent losing money on the blog itself. You didn’t see the times I wanted to give up because I was spending more money running the site than I was earning from it. 

Of course, earning money through blog posts like these is one thing, but I also made a good chunk of my daily income from affiliate marketing, promoting products, and even helping others by sharing my expertise

We’ll look into those avenues later. Aside from that, you might also encounter MLM or Multi-Level Marketing opportunities when searching for ways to earn 50 dollars per day online, you’ll also come across suggestions like streaming, starting an online store, and even selling baked goods or food items to your local community

Whenever I’m asked this question, I always have one stock answer: hard work. You’ll never be able to get anywhere without it. Of course, that doesn’t mean you need to be hunched over something you absolutely detest to see any progress. In fact, one way to make earning from your side hustle more lucrative is to do something you actually enjoy. 

While 50 bucks a day isn’t nearly enough to tide you through the day to day grind if you wish to live with even a modicum of comfort, it’s still a good stepping stone to earning $100 to even upwards of thousands of dollars a day in the near future. 

Here are some of the best tried and tested ways to earn a little extra cash in today’s financial climate. 

Start a blog

Over 70% of the world’s entire population are facing a screen at any given time. This means your audience doesn’t need to be restricted to your local area or even your country for that matter.

The world is your literal oyster. If you’re wondering why you should start a blog, I’d like to point out one very obvious fact: you’re reading mine right now. 

So what does that mean for you? Am I only earning 50 dollars a day from writing? Have I found success?

Why should I start a blog?

Before I answer all your hard-burning questions, let me break down the most important reasons for considering running a platform for your thoughts on anything and everything. 

1. It’s a great creative outlet. Writing in any form can help you release stress. Additionally, posts are usually mandated by you, since you own the website. So you’re able to write for specific niches or write about everything under the sun as you please. 

2. It can help you tap into other forms of passive and active income. One of the best things about running your own content is that you’re able to branch out into other ventures while continuing to add value to the one you currently have. I, myself earn from affiliate marketing links, running ads, and selling my products on the blog alongside what the website earns.

3. Because you can. With all the digital advancements out there, you CAN’T say you don’t know how to start one. There is quite literally an endless pool of information out there for you to tap into. Not to mention FREE and beginner-friendly tools to help you with each step of the way.

I’m sure this sounds pretty much like an absolute cliche now, but if you want to succeed, you need to be committed to what you’re about to do. Blogging isn’t for the light-hearted. No matter how easy it might seem to you.

For example, if you want to run a platform that focuses on lifestyle choices, don’t write about things like your political affiliations, your views on the latest gossip, and other irrelevant topics that don’t relate to your audience.

Although if we’re being completely honest, if that’s the kind of niche you find yourself in, it could be a really good and interesting filler piece. That said, it’s not particularly valuable to your readers unless you’re writing about something that personally helps them or contributes to them in any way. Viewer retention is 100% reliant on how your visitors find your posts and one way to make sure they come back for more is by providing them with content that adds value to their lives.

The usual going rate is around $0.01-0.02 per unique page view. Although it sounds like a lot, take note that this is for a single page. Now, I'm not saying every affiliate link out there is legit. There are some shady products you need to be wary of promoting. And the internet is also rife with affiliate marketing scams - websites that let you do all the work without paying you for your efforts. 

Usually, companies will offer you free or discounted access to their services or products plus a set rate or fee for every conversion using your specific link. In some cases, you need to subscribe or sign up to a certain affiliate tier where you’ll be able to manage your affiliate links and create a system based on your and your recruit’s performance

This method of earning an extra 50 bucks daily is seemingly boundless. Of course, it also needs a certain amount of hard work and consistency. And if done correctly, you’ll earn more than just 50 dollars each day. 

Plus, there’s also the fact that you’re basically able to join as many programs as you want. Say you join Kartra and a referral subscribes to the monthly base plan which costs around $99. Kartra offers a 40% recurring commission for as long as they’re getting charged. That’s $39.6 on a single person. Imagine if they were to subscribe to higher price tiers. 

The same principle can be applied to other programs. In my experience, the first thing you need to remember is that you have to be consistent and do your research. Just because a brand offers a potential income source, does not mean it is legit, valuable, or worth your time.
