9 Best Instapage Alternatives & Competitors

Instapage! I bet you’ve heard about it before. After all, it is one of the most popular landing page builders in the market.

But if you’re having second thoughts, let’s take a look at 9 of the best Instapage alternatives and why you should choose them over the former.

Instapage: a quick overview

Before I get carried away into talking about the best Instapage competitors, let’s take a quick look at what makes IP popular and why you might not want it for your business.

It’s a known fact that Instapage is one of the most recognizable landing page builders in the market. This is true for many reasons but primarily because it’s very easy to use and customize.

Furthermore, it’s also quite straightforward. There are no unnecessary features that would serve to distract you from your task at hand which is designing a webpage.

Instapage alternatives

I quite like how easy it is to integrate with Google Analytics and Facebook Ads plus a number of other CRM and autoresponder tools like MailChimp, HubSpot, and Zapier.

But more than that, its templates are designed to inspire conversions. So if you’re new to web design and creating pages that convert viewers into subscribers or paying customers, the platform gives you a more than adequate starting point.

Unfortunately, I can’t say that the software is a one size fits all solution for every business - because it’s not, and truly no tool out there is.

But the fact that you’re only able to build pages on it with no email automation might be a deal-breaker for anyone who wants the best, convenient solution.

Not to mention, with plans that average $99 a month, you’d think it would have more usable features aside from landing page creation.

You also need to consider mobile-responsiveness. With most search engines prioritizing mobile-first indexing, you’d think programs like these would have made it a priority to automatically make your pages responsive to various screens.

Unfortunately, you might need to make a few adjustments to the mobile and desktop version once you’re done to guarantee your page looks the best it can.

Instapage alternatives and competitors

Now that we’ve taken that short trip through Instapage memory lane, it’s time to check out its competition. Keep in mind that this is not a definitive list. These are not your only choices. You will need to consider many factors before picking a single tool to use for your business.

Make sure you make the right decision by factoring in your budget and the exact features you need for your business.

Before signing up for ClickFunnels, make sure to get ClickFunnels 30 Days Marketing Plan. Everyone who has ever had a ClickFunnels account, needs these 30 day blueprints. The summit is totally free.

Like I said, CF is one of the most popular all-in-one funnel solutions in the market. It was founded by the sales funnel king himself - Russel Brunson.

This means that if you choose this software, you’ll have all of Brunson’s effective strategies, funnel templates, and trusted tools at the tip of your fingers.

It’s a great option if you’re looking for an all-in-one platform where you can build entire sales funnels and even sell your products right in your dashboard.

This means you don’t have to worry about integrating different apps or having to manage several subscriptions just to manage, and make your campaigns successful.

This program created by Russel Brunson has several things going for it which is probably why it’s so popular among its users. One of the things I like about it is that it can be tailored no matter what your level of expertise is.

Furthermore, the FunnelFlix portal gives you access to several guides and courses from the top minds in marketing and business.

Why should I choose it?

  • Extensive template library - one of the things that I like about it is that there are templates for both landing pages and entire funnels. This gives newbies a good starting point especially since it can be difficult to think of an effective design when you’re just starting out.

But more than that, I like how I can choose a template when I’m in a hurry. This lessens the work I need to do. Besides, all the templates are trusted and proven so you’re essentially tapping into a highly effective funnel system.

  • Affiliate management - a unique feature of the platform is that you’re able to manage your own membership campaign on the software. You’re also able to pay them directly on the dashboard so you don’t need to subscribe to a third-party app.
  • Exclusive members-only site - if you’re looking to build a membership website where you sell digital products like courses and ebooks, you can do it directly on the application. You can build, market, and sell your offers without the help of external tools.

How much does it cost?

The only downside is that it’s quite a bit expensive. Plans start at $97 and can go up to $297 each month. However, if you’re not 100% sure about it yet, you don’t have to make your choice right away.

There is a 14-day free trial that the platform offers so I suggest you look into that and consider your options before giving up your credit card information, just to be sure you’re choosing the right application for your business.

Why should I choose ClickFunnels over Instapage?

Clickfunnels is a great choice for anyone who wants a complete funnel solution. It’s conversion-geared, and digital marketers will learn a lot from the platform thanks to the FunnelFlix feature.

If you’re looking for a program that will let you build entire sales funnels with e-commerce capability, then this might be something worth looking into.

Known as the best alternative for InstaPage when it comes to conversion-geared templates, UB might be a good choice for you if you want high-converting landing pages.

It’s a great option if you’re looking for a simple, easy-to-use landing page builder without all the unnecessary extra features like email automation or e-commerce capabilities.

It’s just that - a really good landing page builder. There are over a hundred pre-designed templates you can choose from on the platform. And as I’ve mentioned before, they’re all designed to facilitate conversions.

Oh, and did I mention that it’s slightly cheaper compared to IP? At the very least, it offers a plan that’s less than $100 a month.

Just because it’s another landing page tool doesn’t mean it has the exact same features you’d expect to see on Instapage. While there are similarities, there are many things that make UB unique.

What do I like about it?

  • DTR - dynamic text replacement is what makes it possible for you to actively boost your conversion rates. This allows PPC marketers to match specific landing pages to a viewer’s inquiry or search intent. Basically, it shows the right pages to the right people so you’re giving them exactly what they’re interested in.
  • Pop-up and sticky bars - there are several pop-up and sticky bar templates to choose from which can be integrated with third-party apple like WordPress, CRM tools, and autoresponders. You can even add maps to your pages if you want.

How much does it cost?

As I mentioned before, it’s a bit more startup-friendly compared to Instapage. Its plans start at around $80 a month and can go up to nearly $400. But if you’re not too keen on making a commitment just yet, you can also opt for the free trial so you can get a feel for it first.

Why should I choose Unbounce over Instapage?

For starters, its starter plan is a lot less expensive than what the former offers. But more than that, you’re not able to add pop-ups or sticky bars on IP. Whereas with Unbounce, there’s a wide variety of options you can integrate with third-party applications.

What’s more - the template library consists of over a hundred choices. All of which are conversion-geared and have a dynamic text replacement feature that will help you show the right content to your viewers.

Enter another cheap landing page tool alternative to Instapage. This software features an easy to use drag and drop editor that will save you time and stress from having to figure out complex codes.

It’s what you would call an end-to-end platform that allows you to create, launch, and optimize your pages to get as many conversions as possible.

Like the other options before it, the app comes with a substantial template library. There are over a hundred options that cater to different niches which means you get more than just a handful of choices.

Why do I like it?

  • Lead capture - the platform lets you capture leads directly on your landing page. You can then integrate the app with your autoresponder to facilitate email automation.
  • Importing - unlike its competitors, you can import already done pages or ones that were created elsewhere from the internet to your website.

How much does it cost?

Compared to the previously mentioned programs on this list, Landingi is so far the least expensive landing page tool. Its plans start at $55 a month and can go up to a little over $149.

There is a free trial, so if you want to give it a try first you can check that out before you commit to a plan.

Why should I choose Landingi over Instapage?

For starters, it’s affordable. So if you’re a startup or if you really don’t have much room in your budget for spending nearly $100 the first time around.

Or maybe you just have a smaller contact list so you don’t want to pay the equivalent of an extensive one yet.

To put it bluntly, you should choose Landingi over Instapage if you want to save some money, and if you want to be able to collect lead data without relying on a third-party application to do it for you.

GR is a great platform for anyone who wants a complete email marketing tool. It not only allows you to send out newsletters and build landing pages, but you’re also able to use it as an autoresponder.

Its in-built advertising amenity allows you to keep track of your campaigns. Furthermore, its massive email template library makes it easier for those of us who don’t have too much time to curate entire newsletters.

But more than that, its AutoFunnel feature sets it apart from its competition.

I believe you’ll like this platform if you’re focused on maintaining a connection with your leads. The point-to-point mailing possibility means you’re never going to miss out on an opportunity to reach your contacts when necessary.

Let’s take a look at the features that make it worth the money

  • Ecommerce - the platform has a unique marketplace where you’re able to essentially trade in your products. It’s a very simple process and would only take a few minutes out of your time.
  • AutoFunnel - this tool lets you create funnels that are at par with the best-performing sales funnels in the market when done correctly.
  • Webinars - if you’re a coach or like to give inspiring pre-recorded sessions, this feature is just another cheery on top of the sundae. Its functionality is good, easy to use, and pretty much basically what you need in this type of tool.
  • CRM - I wasn’t lying when I said it’s an all-in-one solution. Maintaining customer relations is very important but keeping tabs on every single client or lead can be confusing especially when they’re in the hundreds. The CRM tool lets you manage the workload so the information is a bit more organized and easy to locate.

How much does it cost?

GetResponse has plans ranging from $15 a month to $1,122. This means it has plenty of room for growth, and what’s more is that it’s also startup-friendly.

You should also look into its free trial period just so you can be sure it’s the platform you want for your business.

Why should I choose GetResponse over Instapage?

One factor that should influence your decision in this regard is the fact that it has a lot of great features for a fraction of the price IP offers.

Sure, there’s a LOT of distractions. But wouldn’t you rather pay a smaller fee for a well-packed software rather than overpay for one that does only one specific thing?

This tool is what I would consider one of the pioneers in the landing page builder market. I’m sure you’ve heard of it before, unfortunately, it looks like this software has been overtaken by the younger and newer additions to the market.

That said, if you’re a fan of tried and tested programs, you’re looking at the right product. LP is a landing page builder much like Instapage.

It also focuses on page creation which means it’s very good at what it does. This is only one of the many benefits of a program sticking to a single specialty - there’s plenty of room to perfect it.

Because of this fact, I still recommend it to anyone who wants a specialized tool. Besides, you’ll enjoy the traditional aspects of it such as the large template library, and A/B split testing tool.

Take a look at its best features:

  • Facebook Ad creator - social media plays a huge part in marketing strategies so this tool makes it easier for you to integrate your landing pages into marketable ads on FB.
  • WordPress integration - is your website running on WordPress? Great! Leadpages lets you connect your pages so they’re more seamlessly incorporated into your web design.

How much does it cost?

There are multiple monthly plans to choose from ranging from $25 to $199. This means, that while it may not be the least expensive option in the market, it’s certainly still less expensive than its competitor for today.

Furthermore, you should check out the 14-day free trial if you’re having second thoughts before proceeding.

Why should I choose LeadPages over Instapage?

The main advantage LP has over IP is its price. Even if you need to upgrade to the higher price tier to gain access to A/B split testing functionality, it would still be less expensive.

It’s a good option if you’re looking for software that is basically the same, but less expensive. Plus, the Facebook Ads functionality makes it a little bit easier for you to run specific marketing tactics without worrying about integration.

This tool lets you create entire web pages and funnels on its platform. Which is probably why it has that name.

Builderall homepage

I like how you’re able to create an unlimited number of pages, and that you’re not limited to simply landing pages.

Their live support is also one thing you might find interesting since the team is available 24/7 and are usually very happy to assist.

Like its competitors on this list, it boasts a smooth user interface. This also means it’s quite beginner-friendly. In fact, it looks as though you only need a few minutes to get things set up after you’ve finalized your design.

Here’s what you’ll like about it

  • Funnel sharing - say you have a client who asked you to build a sales funnel for them. But they want to review it before it’s initiated, this feature lets you send entire funnel designs to others for whatever reason you may have.
  • Unlimited membership - if you run a members-only site or would like to create an exclusive offer for a group of your customers, you’re entitled to unlimited access on the platform.
  • Unlimited lead traffic - you can gather as many leads as possible on the software which means, you can scale as much as you want.

How much does it cost?

Before you make any rash decisions, you should give the 14-day free trial a whirl. You know, just in case you decide you’re not happy with the software.

But if by the end of it you want to continue, you’re looking at spending at least $29.90 a month for a subscription with 5GB of disk space.

Why should I choose BuilderAll over Instapage?

This platform has a lot more going for it compared to IP. They’ve also recently launched what they call the Cheetah website builder and funnel which gives you one of the fastest loading speeds on the internet.

And as we all know, quick-loading pages means a better chance at conversions.

It’s a good choice if you want something a bit more affordable that you can use for a variety of webpage design tasks on your website.

This software is a good option if you’re looking for an all-in-one commerce and digital marketing solution but really don’t want to get tied up in Brunson’s cult following.

Kartra_home page

That said, it’s not just a ClickFunnels knock-off or copycat. The platform has its own merits including its own unique helpdesk, affiliate management tool, and video hosting solutions.

I would even venture on to say that it comes with nearly all the features you need to run a business - whether your own or for a client.

It’s also considerably cheaper than Instapage. However, it is slightly more expensive than CF but that shouldn’t really be the basis of your decision.

My guess is that if you’re looking into complete marketing software, that you’re not too worried about the costs and can splurge at least a couple hundred dollars a month for your business - which is the average cost of running these platforms.

So let’s take a look at what I like about it:

  • Helpdesk - this system allows you to create and manage tickets so that you have a more organized customer service process in place. This makes it easier to address concerns while keeping tabs on your client profiles.
  • Email autoresponder and marketing - the app also comes with an in-built tool for collecting leads, automates responses, and targeted advertising strategies without the extra cost or hassle of needing to integrate with a third-party app.
  • Kartra Calendar - this unique feature lets you manage your schedule and appointments directly within the app. You can also use it to book events.

How much does it cost?

I’m a firm believer that nothing is ever truly free. Kartra’s 14-day trial will cost you a dollar and then you get full access to all the tools in it.

When this period expires, you get to choose from their plans which start at $99 and can cost as much as $499 a month depending on which one you choose.

Why should I choose Kartra over Instapage?

By now, you’re well aware that IP is just a landing page builder. This option is great for coaches, those in the real estate industry, or anyone who needs an eCommerce feature + in-built calendar to schedule events and appointments with clients or sell products.

I have to say that it’s the exact opposite of IP in the sense that it’s filled with a wide assortment of features. Which makes it a great choice for you if you want a nearly catch-all solution to digital marketing for your business.

Thrive Themes

Are you on WordPress? Because if you are, then you’re most likely familiar with this tool. I mean, it’s only the largest theme bank on the entire platform.

thrivethemes products

But did you know that it also has landing page functionality? And guess what that means for you?

It means you’re able to create pages that are perfectly tailored to the current theme of your website. Who doesn’t enjoy seamless coordination, right?

This also allows you to build directly on the WP open servers so you don’t need to tap into a third-party application to get the job done.

The actual tool is called Thrive Architect and it can be found in the Thrive Themes directory.

So, what do I like about it?

  • Sales page creation - Aside from landing pages, you can also build entire webpages designed for direct sales. This makes it easier for you if you actively sell products.
  • Drag and drop builder - WordPress often strikes fear into any newbie’s heart. It’s usually associated with coding, and complex design work that takes months to accomplish for the technologically challenged. But it’s actually the exact opposite with TT. Its drag&drop interface is easy to use, smooth, and simple enough to understand that even a child could do it.
  • Blog post formatting - Furthermore, you’re also able to add certain elements to your content such as boxes, stylized lists, and more. This makes it more customizable and helps you set your pages apart from your competition.

How much does it cost?

A monthly membership for Thrive Suite costs only $19. What’s great about it is that you’re getting access to all the features Thrive has to offer in addition to Architect. So really, it’s worth more than what you pay for when used correctly.

Why should I choose Thrive Themes over Instapage?

Its biggest advantage is that it’s designed for WordPress websites. So if you’re already on the WP platform, there’s really very little reason for you to look elsewhere.

The Suite is packed with a ton of offers for less than $20 which is a lot less than what you would normally pay for with other software, especially IP.

It’s a great option if you want your experience on your web host to be more convenient. Besides, why would you look elsewhere when there’s a perfectly good program on its servers?

Last but certainly not the least, we have one of the largest website builders in the market today. I’m sure you’ve heard of it before and have even considered what it can do for you.

Wix editor user interface

This application features a drag and drop what you see is what you get builder. But unlike its competition, it doesn’t focus on landing pages - it’s best suited for complex or entire websites.

It has an extensive template library that caters to a variety of niches. But more than that, it simplifies a process that many newbies and startups dread - all for a fraction of the cost their competitors charge.

Here’s what you’ll like about it:

  • Flexible editors - so let’s say you want a little more room to play with your design. You have the choice to stick to the WYSIWYG editor or switch over to the advanced ADI which basically runs everything for you.
  • Mobile optimization - since Google prefers mobile-first indexing now, it certainly should be a top priority to optimize the web design for mobile use. The editor makes this easy, and most of the time you don’t even need to make any changes.

How much does it cost?

Like I mentioned before, Wix is one of the cheapest website builders on the internet. There is a free plan - of course, but if you want your site to look more professional, their paid options start at $4.50 a month and can run up to $35 if you want an eCommerce solution.

Why should I choose Wix over Instapage?

I’ve mentioned before that IP focuses on building landing pages. This means it isn’t ideal if you want website hosting and design done on the same platform.

Not to mention, the cost is a little bit outrageous when you think about it. That isn’t to say that it isn’t worth it - because it might be, but the fact that you’re able to do more on another software for a cheaper price really says something.

Wix is a great choice for you if you want to have access to a reasonably priced software that will allow you to sell directly on your website as well as your landing pages.

Instapage alternatives: final verdict

There you have it. Nine different options for you to mull over. Each of these platforms is different. Keep in mind that you should always put your business as the top priority.

So really, you can listen to reviews and testimonials all you want. But at the end of the day, the decision should be made because it’s the right fit for your venture.

Make sure you take your time to really think things over. If you need to take a few weeks to give the free and paid trials a whirl, then by all means do that.

Remember, it’s better to do things right the first time around than having to go back over and over again.
