The Best Leadpages Alternatives & Competitors (Free And Paid)

LeadPages is currently a hot commodity within the digital marketing industry. And why wouldn’t it? It offers a great range of features that would normally require help from a professional except it allows you to do it yourself.

But are you aware that there are several LeadPages alternatives in the market?

If you’re second-guessing how valuable LeadPages can be to your business, take a look at these LeadPages competitors and why they’re better for your business.

A bit about LeadPages

Before we go any further, Let’s take a quick second to talk about LeadPages. Since you’re here, you’ve probably heard of it already. The platform boasts plenty of convenient features that allow you to take hold of your business without needing the help of a professional coder or programmer.

Leadpages Alternatives

Take a quick look at my key takeaways:

  • Features a user-friendly interface.
  • Has an in-built SEO tool that helps you optimize your content.
  • Comes with many professionally-designed page templates.
  • The drag and drop website builder is very easy to use and understand.
  • The advanced plan gives you access to sub-accounts.
  • You can build as many landing pages as you would like.
  • There is an ad builder feature.
  • A/B split testing is available with the Pro plan.

That said, there are certainly quite a few drawbacks when you take a good long look at what LeadPages has to offer.

For example: it can get quite expensive. While the standard plan does allow you to build one website and an unlimited number of landing pages for only $25 a month, it’s still quite expensive considering there are other options in the market.

Keeping that in mind, it’s time we take a look at some of the best LeadPages competitors.

LeadPages alternatives. Which LeadPages competitor is the right choice for me?

Whether you’re simply looking for a cheaper alternative to or a LeadPages free alternative, there’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll find it here. After all, while LeadPages may be considered a hot commodity as of the moment - and it is in fact, a valuable resource to those who choose it, there are simply too many options in the market to be stuck with just one.

Keep reading to find out which LeadPages competitor is the right choice for your business.

1. ClickFunnels - Best for digital marketers and growing businesses

clickfunnels

Do you value digital marketing above everything else? ClickFunnels is the best choice for digital marketers because of its lucrative affiliate program as well as its unique capability to help you build content that is 100% effective.

ClickFunnels focuses on allowing you to build sales funnels to help you make more sales and get more clicks. But one thing that stands out to me is the fact that ClickFunnels has found a way to help you start earning even before you have a product ready.

Compared to LeadPages, ClickFunnels can be considered the pricier option. After all, the cheapest plan starts out at $97 for a monthly subscription. That said, ClickFunnels does offer a better money back guarantee from the affiliate program compared to LeadPages.

Moreover, it also makes it easier for you to build highly effective sales funnels. Compared to LeadPages, ClickFunnels has designed the whole platform to make it extremely easy for you to convert page visitors into loyal customers.

I also found it quite admirable that the ClickFunnels platform has better plans in place for helping your business grow. The Etison Suite plan is priced at $297 every month, which might sound like a lot, but once you’ve tapped into the full potential of your business, would be little more than chump change.

Pros

  • One of the best affiliate programs
  • More effective platform
  • Better user interface
  • Reap high conversion rates
  • Great sales funnel flow
  • Easily trackable data

Cons

  • Does not have a blog function
  • Quite expensive

Summary: Keeping the benefits and drawbacks in mind, I think the most significant thing to look at here is what ClickFunnels can do for you. It’s certainly not the best option for you if you aren’t ready to spend a more substantial amount of money from the start. However, the benefits lay in the fact that you’d still be able to earn a significant amount from their affiliate program alone.

2. Landingi - Best user interface

Leadpages Competitors

Landingi can compete with LeadPages nearly head to head. It might lack in some aspects, but it still reaps an overall higher satisfaction rate compared to LeadPages. One of its best features is the user interface that is highly intuitive, simple and yet it’s also highly effective.

Landingi also offers a good range of tools and features at a reasonable starting price. Unlike LeadPages, Landingi has various plans that adapt to the size of your business. This means whether you’re just starting out or have grown to a large enterprise, Landingi will still be a viable solution and will grow with you and the needs of your business.

One of the more attractive things about this platform is the rich selection of templates. There are several themes to choose from that could fit a wide variety of niches. So in reality, you’re subscribing to a platform that fits the needs of your business no matter what it may be.

Pros

  • Good pricing
  • Modern and intuitive builder and interface
  • Over 200 templates to choose from
  • Widget integration
  • Compatible with several third-party applications
  • Stellar customer support

Cons

  • A bit more expensive compared to LeadPages
  • The builder may experience lag sometimes
  • No contact management
  • No campaign analysis
  • Limited third-party integrations
  • No ROI analytics

Summary: Landingi is mostly focused on helping you build high-conversion landing pages. One of its biggest drawbacks is the fact that it’s not cheaper than LeadPages. That said, it certainly comes with one of the most inclusive and intuitive user interfaces you’ll come across in the market. You’ll also appreciate the fact that it’s more equipped to accommodate a growing business compared to LeadPages.

3. Builderall - Best cloud-based platform

builderall_homepage

If you’re worried about your platform taking up space on your work computer, Builderall is a great choice for you. As with the other alternatives listed here, Builderall is an all-in-one digital marketing solution to any business.

It can assist you in completing various tasks that LeadPages also offers like creating landing pages and building websites

However, it also has features that allow you to set autoresponders based on a click map and show you data based on heat maps.

Let’s take a quick look at what Builderall can bring to the table for you.

Besides being able to access your progress on basically any computer no matter where you are, Builderall contains all the tools you need to succeed. This includes web hosting and local servers that host a variety of other tasks like sales funnels, videos and webinars.

This also means you don’t have to spend extra on third party providers. But more than that, it makes all your tasks more easily trackable.

Pros

  • Comprehensive drag and drop builder
  • Cloud-based platform
  • Heat mapping feature
  • Floating video feature
  • Animated video builder
  • Integrated email marketing
  • In built ecommerce tool

Cons

  • Inconsistent user interface
  • The applications are mediocre at best
  • May take over 24 hours to get a response from customer service

Summary: Despite Builderall’s best efforts, this all-in-one platform does come with a significant list of shortcomings. Yes, it is packed with several features that are ideal for startup businesses just trying to get a foothold in the market. However, when faced up to other apps in the same category, I’ve found that they’re not entirely the best option. However, if you’re simply looking for an all-in-one solution to starting your business, Builderall is a great first step.

4. Unbounce - Fastest landing page builder

unbounce

Unbounce is an ideal choice if you’re more focused on building landing pages as opposed to websites. It’s also ideal if you’re looking for a platform that will allow you to save yourself from spending hours trying to create an effective landing page.

Unbounce features an ideal user-interface that allows you to minimize the time spent building your landing pages. But more than that, its artificial intelligence optimization features allow you to streamline a huge chunk of the process.

This means you’re not just creating landing pages that aren’t designed to convert. After all, that’s the reason you’re building landing pages in the first place, right? You can still expect high-conversion landing pages in half the time it would take you to build them on any other platform.

Pros

  • Allows you to build and publish landing pages quickly
  • A/B testing is available
  • In-built AI optimization tool
  • Great customizability
  • Wide selection of templates

Cons

  • You can only split test landing pages you built on Unbounce
  • The form builder is lacking some features

Summary: To put it simply, Unbounce is best if you’re looking for a simple yet efficient landing page builder that can get the job done quickly without having to worry about conversion. The platform is optimized to make sure you get optimal conversions and it saves you more time while giving you the freedom to customize your content.

5. Kartra - Most flexible

kartra

Kartra is a collection of 11 software tools designed to help take your business to the next step. However, unlike other platforms previously mentioned, it’s more than just a platform for newbies. It’s also optimized so that you’re able to make more technical changes when needed.

What does that mean for you and your business exactly?

Say you’re stuck with the intuitive builder and you’ve decided that you can’t achieve the features you want by yourself. It can be easy to hire a professional to do some of the work for you through coding and programming while you supervise.

This also means you can limit the amount of work you need to outsource just to build your website and landing pages. I highly appreciated the flexibility the platform had to offer for those of us who are more inclined to make changes ourselves especially since some of these changes aren’t readily available when you use drag and drop builders.

Pros

  • Cloud-based platform
  • Flexible and can grow with your business
  • Contains 11 softwares that allow your business to succeed
  • Easy and intuitive user interface
  • Has allowances for more techy builders
  • In-built shopping cart feature

Cons

  • A bit expensive
  • Can only handle up to 100,000 email contacts

Summary: While Kartra is a viable option for many, I can certainly tell you that it isn’t the best option for everyone. It’s best suited for people who are just starting out and would like to have a platform that allows ample room to grow without having to worry about all the factors they put into it working together. That said, if you plan to grow your subscriber list to over 100,000 contacts, you may need to start thinking about a second option early on.

6. Wix - Best free for startups

wix

Unlike LeadPages that offers a limited time free trial, Wix gives you plenty more room to move. This means you can use the free plan for as long as you like with a few drawbacks. That said, the platform itself is great quality and is ideal for both beginners and those who are more techy and have experience with coding.

Wix also allows more room for your business to grow compared to LeadPages. One of the best things about the software is the comprehensive builder that allows you to just input the information you would like so it can do everything else for you.

I appreciate the fact that unlike other platforms I’ve mentioned before, Wix gives you more room to play around tech-wise. This means if you’d prefer to code and program your way through your landing pages and website building process, you have very little blocking you from doing so.

Unfortunately, Wix caters more to smaller customer lists. That means you may need to pack up and choose a different software in the future once your business grows exponentially.

Pros

  • More highly customizable
  • Offers a free plan
  • Intuitive and easy to use interface

Cons

  • You get what you pay for
  • Best suited for smaller customer bases

Summary: Wix is certainly a good playground for tech-geeks like me who like to make things a bit more customizable. So if you already have experience with coding and programming, the platform is a great resource for you. Having said that, it doesn’t mean Wix isn’t right for you if you aren’t tech-savvy. The interface allows you to automize landing page creation with very little issues as well.

7. Thrive Themes - Best value for WordPress users

Thrive Themes

Thrive Themes is best suited for those who already own a WordPress website. Otherwise, you won’t really be able to use it. That said, if you already own a website on WordPress, Thrive Themes is a great platform with nearly the same features as LeadPages for a fraction of the price.

Like LeadPages, it’s best suited for startups and small businesses. It certainly isn’t the best in the market. However, it’s a viable choice if you’re looking for something that’s easy to use without having to break the bank.

One of the major drawbacks Thrive Themes has is the fact that you need to have a separate hosting provider to make use of it, unlike LeadPages that allows you to build your website directly on the platform.

That said, it’s still quite a bit less expensive compared to LeadPages. And for nearly the same kind of service and types of features you get, we’re not entirely sure you should cross out Thrive Themes. After all, it’s one of the most lucrative landing page builders for WordPress website owners.

Pros

  • Great value
  • Well-priced
  • Easily integrates into your WordPress website
  • The Thrive Pro membership can be used on up to 25 websites
  • Many marketing oriented tools and features
  • Uncheatable countdown timers

Cons

  • Cannot be used independently from WordPress

Summary: Overall, ThriveThemes is only something you should look into if you already own a WordPress website. Otherwise, you’re really not going to be able to enjoy the full perks of it. That said, it is significantly cheaper than LeadPages and it offers many other helpful features and tools.

8. Elementor - Best customizable

Elementor

It’s no secret that LeadPages offers a great selection of professionally-designed templates that you can use. That said, the resource isn’t exactly satisfying given the fact that you can’t customize the templates to fit your personal tastes much.

This is where Elementor comes in soaring with flying colors. If you value the easy to use interface that LeadPages has combined with a great selection of templates, but would like a little more room for creative autonomy, Elementor is the choice for you.

Elementor comes with a massive template library without limiting your creative control on the layouts. This means you’ll be able to select a template that will help you get started, but it won’t hinder you from making it entirely your own.

Moreover, it also comes with a save, reuse and design sharing feature that allows you to reuse your own templates or share them. This is ideal if you’re working with several clients and would like to make it easier to build landing pages and websites without having to code them from scratch.

Moreover, Elementor is also significantly cheaper compared to LeadPages. The personal plan - which is their cheapest option, will only run you $49 annually. Whereas LeadPages costs you $25 a month for one website.

I also appreciate the fact that Elementor comes with a fairly significant “Unlimited Plan” that bills you only $199 annually. This is best for anyone who works for multiple clients without having to risk spending too much.

Take into consideration that LeadPages offers a somewhat similar plan with the same ballpark price that you have to pay monthly. When you look at the two side-by-side, it’s easy to see that Elementor wins by default even if you’re just considering pricing.

Pros

  • Great value
  • Over 75 professional templates
  • Designed to accelerate marketing strategies
  • Quick and easy process
  • Great customer support
  • Reasonably priced
  • Custom CSS feature
  • In-built SEO tools
  • Free plan

Cons

  • You have to pay annually
  • Constant updates can result in bugs sometimes

Summary: Elementor is best for anyone who is looking for a solid alternative to LeadPages. It offers a good variety of professionally designed templates with more creative freedom than LeadPages has to offer. It’s also better priced and more affordable. Even if you work for several clients, the Unlimited plan is much more high value compared to what LeadPages has to offer.

Final words. Which is the best LeadPages alternative?

To be frank, there can be no way to determine exactly what is the best choice for your business. There are several factors that you have to personally take into consideration before making a decision.

For example, I could say that Thrive Themes was the best choice for me when I was starting out because I functioned on a WordPress website.

But I can’t say that would be the best choice for you especially if you’re looking for an all-in-one solution. In which case, Kartra would have my highest recommendations.

Furthermore, each alternative listed above is the best in its own category. If you’re not afraid to invest a good amount of money from the start, I highly recommend you look into ClickFunnels.

Their affiliate program is one of the most lucrative in the business and works for various business models. Moreover, you can also expect to see a return of investment much more quickly compared to the other alternatives I’ve listed here.

But if you’re just not ready to shell out $99 a month, Thrive Themes or Elementor might catch your attention. Its Unlimited plan gives you access to build websites for any number of domains for only $199 a year. This is a significantly huge difference from the Advanced plan LeadPages offers which is also severely limited.

Overall, the best alternative would depend on you and your needs. But if you ask me, my two top picks would be polar opposites from each other.

ClickFunnels is worth your notice if you’re not afraid of investing your money.

On the other hand, Elementor or Thrive Themes are something I would suggest if you want something high in value without floundering when stacked up against the competition.

Furthermore, if you want tools with forever free plans, then consider using Builderall, Wix, or Elementor.
