Take note that LeadPages is compatible with all three selections. Unbounce on the other hand, only allows you to link it to your subdomain. It’s admittedly a more visually appealing option, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking for the most convenient way to host the pages you create.
Who won this round? LeadPages is our top choice simply because it gives you more choices to choose from. Although Unbounce does the right thing by encouraging you to host landing pages on your own subdomain to make it look more professional, it’s nice to have the choice.

Pop-up forms and lightbox features should come pretty standard with any landing page builder. There are also other methods you’re able to capture your audience’s contact information with both tools.

I’m not usually a fan of needing to integrate third party apps. I feel like if I’m using a paid platform, I’d like to make the most of it as much as possible. And if it’s missing key tools that I need and have to source elsewhere, it’s usually a big red flag for me.

Split A/B testing is an important tool for any web-based business. This helps you create effective copies that ultimately boost your conversion results.
There’s no denying that the absence of this feature would turn me off any tool advertised to create pages and even email marketing templates.
Who won this round? Although both platforms offer this feature (as they should) Unbounce has a slight advantage in the fact that it offers it to all currently existing plans. On the other hand, LeadPages only offers it in their higher price tiers.

I've mentioned it before, but this tool really does deserve more than just passing commentary. The DTR ability allows you to create whole campaigns based on keywords you set to target your audience.

Think of it this way - most landing pages don’t even show up on search engines. That’s because there’s very rarely enough information to make it actually significant for Google to feature it.

LeadPages is better known for its landing page builder feature since that’s how it started out in the market. Since then though, it’s made significant strides to remain relevant and useful to a wide variety of users.
For example, they’ve started incorporating CRM tools. Although the feature is still new and isn’t ready to compete with any top autoresponder apps in the industry, it’s a good step to take in the right direction for improvement.
As someone who prefers convenience, I have to give it credit for trying to give its clients more competitive attributes without all the complications and technical skill that usually accompanies such accomplishments.
However, I also find it irrelevant in my field especially since I’ve developed a need for better, more advanced features.

Overall, I have to say that you can’t go wrong with either platform. While both are popular choices for many business owners, there are a few things you need to consider.
