Sales funnel – process of turning a complete stranger into your customer on autopilot. Most of business owners have heard of sales funnels before but they’re not implementing them in their business. Why?

I’ve uncovered one big reason for this and that is – My business is different.

They think that their business doesn’t require a sales funnel and that they have a “better plan”. Or they think that a funnel “can’t” sell their product or a service.

With this post, I am here to deny both of these silly excuses.

These sales funnel examples are:

I am super excited to cover all of these so let’s get into it!

Why you need a sales funnel

First of all, if sales funnels are new to you and you don’t know what they are, read my article that covers exactly what they are and how they work.

Anyway, imagine this. You’ve probably heard that if you have a business, you need a website to get customers online, right?

You know, those typical websites with an About page, Contact Page, Portfolio etc.

While websites are important for online presence, they simply aren’t structured in a way to make you money

Typical website has too many directions and the user doesn’t know where to find what he/she is looking for. It’s like entering a giant store with no staff to help you find what you’re looking for.

However, a sales funnel has only one clear direction and the user can easily find what he/she is looking for. Using the previous example again, it’s like entering a store with a person being there asking what you need, giving that to you and then offering a bunch of extras to make you have the best possible experience.

How to sell anything with a sales funnel

In order to sell something, whatever that thing is (seriously, ANYTHING), you’ll need to master 3 skills.

How to sell anything with a sales funnel

1. Create an irresistible offer around any product

I don’t mean on irresistible price, I mean on irresistible offer.

Many business owners think that the only great offer they could have is a low price which could not be further from the truth.

What if you could sell your product for 10x of it’s actual worth?

Well, you can!

The way you do this is by increasing the value of your offer.

For example, if you’re selling a software that creates and edits videos worth $100, you could add a digital course or a guide on how to edit videos, create cool effects and how to make money with videos (Youtube, Freelancing etc.) worth $200 to your offer.

This way, the value of your offer is $300 so the price of $150 sounds like a good deal.

Add more valuable extras and you can increase the price even more.

And although all of your competitors may sell that same or similar product for $100, the customers know that if they pay a little bit more for the same product you’re offering, they can get a bunch of extra value for free.

As long as your offer has real value that exceeds the price of it, people will buy. Doesn’t matter of what the actual price is.

2. Tell your prospects a story

The point of a story is to create a connection between you and your prospect and to trigger emotions within them.

People don’t buy based on facts or features of your product/service, they buy based on emotions and how they can relate to you.

3. Get someone’s attention

Making a person pay attention to you and what you have to say. In today’s world, we have a lot of interruption marketing. You can see ads everywhere.

But what will make the prospect pay attention to YOUR ad? This is where this skill comes into play.

All of these skills are equally important. You can’t do 1 or 2 and ignore the rest.

11 crazy sales funnel examples

These funnels were all covered by Russell Brunson, CEO of Clickfunnels, when he was speaking at 10x Growth Conference by Grant Cordone. I found them super interesting and have decided to share them with you. So, here they are…

These funnels are into various industries. You’ll see a sales funnel example for pretty much every business there is. Let’s start!

1. Digital Agency/Freelance

For all of you who are selling some sort of freelance service or you have a full blown digital agency, check this out.

If you are selling some kind of service, you should model this funnel. It works like a charm.

It has a great headline, video, testimonials as social proof and an awesome design as well. It is consisted of a few simple steps where a visitor clicks on the button to get a free call, schedules a call via their chatbot and then gets closed on a deal. Crazy simple yet crazy profitable funnel!

2. Info-product funnel

This is a sales funnel Russell Brunson himself uses to sell all of his books. And note that this guy sold hundreds of thousands of copies for every single of his books. His most famous books are DotCom Secrets, Expert Secrets and others.

If you go at any of these books’ sites, you’ll notice that their funnels are pretty much the same. Why? Because they work so well.

You first get offered a free book. Then you’re upsold a book bundle with a bunch of Russell’s other books. After that, you’re offered an audio version of the book you’ve just purchased and then 1 or 2 higher end courses.

This way, although they aren’t making any profit on the free book purchase, they surely are making a great profit on the back-end upsells.

3. eCommerce sales funnel example

Trey Lewellen is a 8-figure eCom seller who owned a bunch of “duh” Shopify stores before implementing sales funnels into his business.

… selling nothing else than FLASHLIGHTS!

His offer is consisted of a flashlight, batteries and warranty.

4. Coaching/consulting

Another sales funnel example from Russell Brunson. It costs him around $40 to generate a lead for this funnel.

And then he makes around $1500 on back-end from every single one of his leads. This funnel is consisted of 3 simple steps – landing page, application form page and thank you page.

After that, his professional closer calls his leads and closes them on a deal.

For coaches and consultants reading this, this is the funnel you should model. If you want to see how to scale an online coaching business, then no more 1 on 1 selling or cold calling, it’s time to get clients on autopilot. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel, just structure your funnel like this and you’re good to go.

5. Network marketing/MLM sales funnel

Stephen Larsen is one of the top players in network marketing industry and he never harasses his friends or family.

What he does instead is getting people registered through a sales funnel. What he does FIRST is building a relationship with the visitor.

He doesn’t spam them like usual MLMers, he provides them with true value and then on the third page, he is like: “Oh, by the way, this is what I am selling”.

And people buy in because they already have a relationship with him at that point.

6. Local business

This one is really easy.

The creator of this funnel is a gym owner and he managed to blow up his gym using this simple funnel.

Local business sales funnel

There are many local business owners who have implemented sales funnels into their business and got crazy results. All you have to do is target locals and send them to a landing page and have them enter their info.

7. B2B lead generation

Out of all sales funnels on this list, this one is probably the easiest and most simple one to create.

B2B lead generation

It involves just two steps! Registration page and thank you page.

On the registration page itself, you get a brief explanation of what you’re offered and a testimonial as social proof which is why it works great.

8. Blogging/affiliate marketing

Fellow blogger? Maybe you are an affiliate, Youtuber or a social media influencer? This is a cool sales funnel example I have for ya!

Blogging affiliate marketing example

This funnel was developed by two bloggers, Sara and Kate, and they’ve managed to make about $30,000 in the first weekend after launch!

The free offer is a recipe which is the first thing a visitor will see once landing on their site. Then you’re upsold a meal plan with a bunch of recipes.

The sales page also has testimonials which adds to the conversion rate.

9. Non profit

This is a first non profit company that has generated over a million dollars with Clickfunnels. This funnel is for a Christian non-profit camp for kids and it works great!

The visitor is first offered a free bag and then he is asked to donate. I don’t know about you but this funnel makes me feel so happy.

Things get crazy from here folks. You’re looking at a sales funnel that has made over $20,000 selling YETI HUNTS!

No kidding! This funnel is down now but while it was on, it was crushing it.

Russell Brunson has talked about this funnel while he was at 10X Event from Grant Cardone. He states:

“He’s got a ClickFunnels page, and at first I didn’t believe it. I thought this was a joke…

But I looked up his stats, and he generated $18,000 in the last few months selling trips to go hunt Big Foot with him!”

Still not convinced that a funnel works for ANY business?

11. Chicken coops funnel

“Okay, is this for real?”
